Getting My Kicks on Route 66

Boy oh boy, it’s been a looooong time since I’ve been here! And by here, I mean here on my blog. My bad! I’ve been a bad, bad girl. Sorry! I’m going to try and be better, I promise.

Writing doesn’t come naturally to me. Taking pictures does. Well, most of the time, if I’m lucky, it does. So, have some pity on a photographer trying to write! I told myself this blog would be a place I could share my love and fascination for photography. A place where others could join in my discoveries and also share their stories on photography and art with me and the world. But the past few months were a whirlwind of family commitments, filling orders and generally trying to get my act together!

So, now, here I am hoping to start this writing thing anew. I’m also hoping to travel more this year! My first roadtrip was to my neighbor, Oklahoma. I’d never been to Tulsa before and have always wanted to do a drive down route 66! And while I didn’t get to drive as much of it as I would’ve like, it did certainly whet my appetite some more! I definitely plan on taking a Route 66 drive, Part Deux, in the near future. For now, I have to get into the post processing work. More pictures to come, stay tuned!
