I know others have been buried (and burdened) with it this season, but in Texas it can sometimes seem like only a dream. Warmer days are already creeping up on us way down south and talk of spring is in the air. I, for one, have always loved cold weather. How I’ve managed to live my entire life in Texas is beyond me! Don’t get me wrong, I love this place, but a winter wonderland is something I do most enjoy!
In 2010 Dallas experienced one of it’s largest snowfalls ever. I’ll remember that time fondly, even if we lost power for two days! My snow covered bird fence post is my fave image from that “epic” storm.
I’ll continue to dream until the first blooms wake me from my reveries. Until then, there’s always next year…..
