Hello readers! And hello to 2017!!

Can’t believe it’s already here. Where did 2016 go? I’m as mystified as most of you are. Did your year go as planned? For me, it was a year of mixed emotions, of trying to “go with the flow”, of struggling to find a promising path and trying not to get so fixated on either and just let it go!

My definite highlight of 2016 was our trip overseas in November to London and Paris. We spent a wonderful 10 days exploring the cities. I tried to balance just being in the experience and being in the moment with capturing photos I felt celebrated these iconic places.

Seems like it’s been a whirlwind since we returned the week before Thanksgiving. The holidays were swiftly upon us and my time to even review my images has been minimal, to say the least. With the new year chugging forward, though, I am making it a resolution to really dig in and make some magic happen!

As for this blog, it has been awhile since I’ve been here and in all honesty I am not sure how much time I can dedicate to it moving forward. Writing has never been a strong suit of mine. I struggle finding the right words that I think my audience would want to read. However, in 2017 I am hoping to find a way to push through my trepidations and find a voice and a rhythm that works for me and helps me to continure to share some of my thoughts with you in a way that, hopefully, you’ll find both informative and entertaining.

So, to say “goodbye” to 2016 and “hello” to 2017, I’d thought I would share with you the trip images I have worked on so far. Lots more of these to come and I hope to be able to share them with you in the not-too-distant future.
